Round 8 [Action + Voice]
[ Action ]
[ Bolin is back to show off the latest fruits of his labors, this time setting up in the square with Pabu for a new display of the Fire Ferret Circus. This also means the return of Bolin's circus barker mustache and costume. ]
Step right up folks and witness the Amazing Pabu performing fantastic feats!
[ And Pabu certainly does perform to his usual standard, walking on front legs for several steps before jumping through a hoop, climbing over the Ladder Of Doom. ]
Isn't he amazing folks?!
[ Later on, once Bolin has packed up the fire ferret circus he'll be opening up his journal for a different reason. ]

I kind of had a quick question. Does anyone know if there's a quick way to get a bunch of helmets, elbow pads and knee pads? Oh and skateboards and roller skates and stuff like that, too. 'Cause the skate park is getting closer to done and it'd kinda suck if people learning ended up hurting themselves.

Round 7 - [Voice/Action ]
[ It didn't sink in that Korra was gone right away. Sometimes she'd go off for runs on Naga that lasted a long time. It was only when they checked her room and found everything gone except for a single photo that it really hit home that they were down an avatar in house 56. Aang took care of the photograph so Bolin took it upon himself to let the village know she was gone. ]
[ Voice ]
Um, it looks like Korra went home again. It's probably alright, she had big stuff to do. Important avatar type stuff like saving the world and punching bad guys. She didn't leave much, but I know she'd miss everyone she became friends with here. And they say friendships can transcend lifetimes with the avatar so maybe it works with other worlds, too?

[ Bolin is a bit restless and doesn't really want to stay in the house knowing they've lost someone else. So he pulls on a warm coat and heads out to keep himself busy. He spends some time working on bending a ramp for Beat's Skate park. He'll also be stopping in the convenience store to grab a warm drink and a treat for Pabu. Otherwise he'll be around. ]
[ Voice ]

Round 6 - [Action/Video]
[ Bolin didn't really expect to find much taking a quick browse through the items shop, mostly hoping to find something for Pabu to play with. Out of everything he might have found, he hadn't been expecting a reminder from home in the form of his brother's scarf. It takes some debate whether or not to take it but in the tend he leaves with it loosely draped around his neck.
From there he goes about his routine as usual, grabbing a snack at the convenience store before he goes off to train. And while he's there Pabu gets into a little trouble knocking over a display of chips. Then it's off to a little ways behind avatar house to train his metal bending a bit since that's where he needs the most improvement.
Later on that evening he pulls out his journal to ask about something that he's been thinking about. ]

[ He's still wearing the scarf when he starts up the video, though he's teasing Pabu with the end of it. Throughout the entry there will be a fire ferret jumping up trying to catch the slightly worn ends of it. ]
So I was wondering, does anybody have any tips for doing the filial magic stuff? I never really paid attention before but I'm thinking I might wanna try and make some headway with it if it'll help my bending.
And I guess I've been here a year now, the time really flies. I guess they decided to give me something from home to mark the occasion. Which is actually kind of cool. I'll just hold onto it until I see Mako again.

Round 5 [Voice/Action]
[ Bolin goes about his day in the usual manner, though since the draft he hasn't been as enthusiastic about the whole thing. He's been waking up a later, Pabu acting as a trusty alarm clock.
When he finally heads outside to practice his earth bending midmorning, anyone familiar with him might be able to tell his heart isn't in it. That combined with the heavy rain from the last few days means that he loses his footing a few times to fall in the mud.
After a quick trip back to the house to shower off the healthy layer of mud, Bolin will be in a few locations around the village during the afternoon. He'll be stopping by the bakery and even the library. He's a little more reserved than he normally is in both attitude and appetite.
Later on in the evening he gets around to opening his journal to make an entry. ]
[Voice]
It's weird thinking I've been here for eight months, I've never been away from home that long in my life. [ Not that he really had a home for a few years but he won't get into that. ] I'm gonna be turning 17 soon and it'll be the first time my brother won't be there for it. I never really thought about being here long enough to hit my next birthday.
In Republic City they'd be doing promotional matches for pro-bending, exhibitions to get fans excited for the upcoming season. Me and Mako would go on the days they'd let people in for free when we were kids, when we could get away with it. The weather would be getting nice again, too. It was a good time to get work in the parks doing landscaping stuff.
Luceti's really small compared to it, it could fit into one neighborhood really easily. I'm probably just homesick but... this sucks... Not really sure I had a point with all this, honestly. [ So he closes the journal before he rambles anymore. ]

[ Hello Luceti! It's been a while since Bolin bothered to make an entry on the network so obviously this is a totally serious thing. That's why Bolin is wearing a totally serious sweet mustache and circus gear. Don't question it, just go along with it. ]
You now I never realized that in all the time I've been here, Pabu's been a bit of a one trick poodle pony, so we decided to improve one of his acts! [ He lowers his voice to stage whisper conspiratorially. ] Plus he's been getting a little pudgy lately so he could use the exercise.
[ He coughs and adjusts his tone, talking like a carnival barker moves aside to reveal Pabu in a little outfit and hat and... a very small tightrope that's only about two feet off the ground. ] So! For the first time ever in Luceti, may I present: The Amazing Performing Pabu!
[ On cue, Pabu climbs up onto the rope and proceeds to walk across it on only his front paws, only wobbling a little as he crosses the rope. Going by Bolin's gasps of awe this part is supposed to be suspenseful. When he reaches the end Bolin quickly moves to hold up a hoop for him. ] Come on buddy! All you have to do is stick the landing!
[ With a little flip Pabu jumps through the hoop and lands on the floor on his hind legs. ]
Tada! Pretty awesome, right?

Round 3 [Voice]
[ There's been talk of this whole christmas thing a lot around the village and it's all been kind of strange to listen to. Mostly because Christmas isn't a thing, so after spending the morning making a few stops around the village to pick up some snacks and hot cocoa and a fire ferret sized winter coat he sits down to his journal and finally asks about it. ]
So this might be a dumb question but what's this whole Christmas thing all about? I've heard people talking about it so I guess it's definitely something that happens in more than one world?
I get that there's people giving each other presents which is definitely cool but I'm not sure why?
And also there seems to be something about an old bearded guy who has lot of pet deer?
[ A pause ] Other worlds are weird...

[Bolin’s been in Luceti for about a month now, and it’s starting to really hit him that he’s trapped here. He hasn’t seen Mako in a month when he’s used to seeing his brother every day. Plus now with Asami gone home he’s trying to be happy that she’s somewhere that’s moderately safer. So he’s been keeping busy, and has also turned avoiding Tahno into a professional sport after the messy events of the amnesia event. So he’ll be away from House 58 for most of the day.]
[In the morning he’ll be training at the battle dome since he figured out how to set up a basic pro-bending training program. Basic stuff like working on his reaction time and accuracy with the earth discs. He hasn’t played a proper game in so long he doesn’t want to get rusty. Getting used to the power restriction Luceti has in place makes it more important that he get back to his old level of strength.]
[The afternoon will be spent still avoiding hanging around the house because he is terribly mature. He’ll be wandering around the village doing various things. Lunch at the pizzeria. Browsing around the item and clothing shops will result in him finding his and Pabu’s circus outfits. He may or may not be wearing that totally rad mustache home.Spoiler: He totally is. Anyone is free to stop and admire this fine example of false manly facial hair.]

It’s probably kinda selfish of me to be jealous that one of my friends got to go home, even though she’s going back to some really chaotic stuff. I know it’s not a good idea to wish anyone into this kind of place but I’m just- Man this is hard to get out.
I know I’m definitely not the only person here who’s missing someone. My brother almost always had my back, it’s weird not having him around all the time to look out for me.
I guess what I wanted to ask was how you deal with that. With knowing you might not see your family for a long time because you’re stuck here.

He's trying not to freak out too much about the kidnapping and the strange wings and the fact that his brother is nowhere to be found; all of this requires distraction so he doesn't end up focusing on it as much as he wants to.
So instead he spends a decent amount of time poking around House 58. Hetting used to things and investigating appliances and how they work (specifically the fridge). Anyone in House 58 or the neighboring avatar house is free to see him looking around.
He also claimed one of the empty rooms for himself and later on settles in there to make his first post to the journal network.]

Oh um, hi there. So I was told this book has some kind of weird sciencey magic that lets people talk through them like it's a radio so I thought I'd check it out and introduce myself. I'm Bolin and I'm still getting used to this whole... weird kidnappy deal that is Luceti.
So far my brain isn't melting out my ears so I guess it isn't that bad. Plus free food! Free food is awesome. [No seriously none of you even know how much this is his favorite part.] The wings are kind of uncomfortable though. They look cool but I think an ostrich-horse is more likely to get airborne than me.
Anyways, I guess I'll stop rambling since I don't really know what I'm doing yet. Hopefully I'll start meeting people in the next few days!
