[ Hello Luceti! It's been a while since Bolin bothered to make an entry on the network so obviously this is a totally serious thing. That's why Bolin is wearing a totally serious sweet mustache and circus gear. Don't question it, just go along with it. ]

You now I never realized that in all the time I've been here, Pabu's been a bit of a one trick poodle pony, so we decided to improve one of his acts! [ He lowers his voice to stage whisper conspiratorially. ] Plus he's been getting a little pudgy lately so he could use the exercise.

[ He coughs and adjusts his tone, talking like a carnival barker moves aside to reveal Pabu in a little outfit and hat and... a very small tightrope that's only about two feet off the ground. ] So! For the first time ever in Luceti, may I present: The Amazing Performing Pabu!

[ On cue, Pabu climbs up onto the rope and proceeds to walk across it on only his front paws, only wobbling a little as he crosses the rope. Going by Bolin's gasps of awe this part is supposed to be suspenseful. When he reaches the end Bolin quickly moves to hold up a hoop for him. ] Come on buddy! All you have to do is stick the landing!

[ With a little flip Pabu jumps through the hoop and lands on the floor on his hind legs. ]

Tada! Pretty awesome, right?

[ This is why you're his best bro, Aang. He picks up Pabu to wave at Aang and make a voice for him. ]

[While Momo scampers over to the top of a nearby chair and chitters in Pabu's direction.]

[Snrk, Cross can't help but watch and cover his mouth to try and not laugh. Not that the act is bad or anything, but the mustache is kind of silly.

In any case, when seeing Pabu do his little act, he's gasping and awing at all the right spots. When Pabu finally finishes Cross has to clap at the end in excitement. Applause is always needed!]

Wow! Excellent! Magnificent! Bravo! Another word for good job!

[ The mustache is the height of cool. And man, it's too bad money isn't a thing here. Bolin's pretty sure this act would earn so much back home. ]

[It probably would be easier if she didn't question it. If she just ignored this video and kept skimming through the journal. But when she first notices the video, she thinks the animal is another ugly, annoying cat much like Buttercup. Albeit, this one isn't the color of squash. Why the boy would consider it the color of squash, she doesn't quite understand.

So she keeps watching. And watching. And, well. Pabu is certainly much more talented than Buttercup could be. Lucky boy.]

How'd you teach him that?

Pabu's pretty smart so he figures out tricks really quickly. I give him treats when he gets it right. It's sorta the basics for training a pet, you give them something they want when they do what you want.

[Roku is questioning that mustache in his head, but won't say anything. No, he's going to be a good audience and watch Pabu's performance--with as much anticipation and suspense as Bolin was making it-- and then applaud once Pabu made it to the ending.]

[ The mustache is essential, Roku. You clearly don't understand the process of a fire ferret circus. Bolin tosses Pabu a treat as reward for a job well done. ]

He's been working really hard! [ A pause ] You know, between naps.

I guess that's not bad. I guess with Hawky gone, he's the most talented animal in the house. But Hawky... Hawky could've done that. Easy.

Pabu was always the most talented animal in the house! Hawky could fly around but it takes hard work to do Pabu's tricks.
