[ Bolin is back to show off the latest fruits of his labors, this time setting up in the square with Pabu for a new display of the Fire Ferret Circus. This also means the return of Bolin's circus barker mustache and costume. ]

Step right up folks and witness the Amazing Pabu performing fantastic feats!

[ And Pabu certainly does perform to his usual standard, walking on front legs for several steps before jumping through a hoop, climbing over the Ladder Of Doom. ]

Isn't he amazing folks?!

[ Later on, once Bolin has packed up the fire ferret circus he'll be opening up his journal for a different reason. ]

[Voice]

I kind of had a quick question. Does anyone know if there's a quick way to get a bunch of helmets, elbow pads and knee pads? Oh and skateboards and roller skates and stuff like that, too. 'Cause the skate park is getting closer to done and it'd kinda suck if people learning ended up hurting themselves.

[Just when Stefano thought he was the only circus talent in Luceti, he stumbles across this display, and is instantly drawn. He watches the fire ferret's fantastic feat, and then applauds by clapping his flippers together.]

Bravo! Bravissima!

Thank you, thank you! [ Bolin bows and Pabu imitates just like he was taught. It's only when Bolin realizes just who's been clapping that he stares for a moment. ]

Whoa. Are you a spirit?

I am-a Stefano, a sea lion! That is a very talented-a ferret! He look-a like he could be in a circus, no?

[Action]

[Sealand laughs and claps enthusiastically at the performance.]

That was so cool! He really is amazing!

[ Finally someone who appreciates how hard they work ]

The Amazing Pabu takes payment for his performance in the form of getting petted if you want.

I can pet him? Really?

[Haruka is on the way back from the shops when he catches sight of the flames. He intends to walk past once he realises there's no danger but he ends up slowing to a stop and watching, a bag of his groceries (including fresh white radishes) dangling from his fingertips.

Haruka pretty much ignores the guy, though; what looks like a lesser panda to him is far more interesting. It's well trained, he thinks.

Sorry, folks, no applause from this guy. What a terrible audience you've attracted.]

[ Pabu goes through his little routine, Bolin dramatically announcing each trick until the grand finale where the fire ferret lands on one front paw and balances for a moment. ]

Tada!!

[ Except, there is no clapping. Just a dude staring. ]

[ And Bolin leans forward with an unsublte stage whisper ] Psst, buddy. This is the part where you clap for him.

[Haruka shoots the stranger a sour look -- Does he even understand applause? -- before glancing back at the creature. Still no clapping from Haruka, though.]

What does he eat?

[Maybe he has something in his shopping bag as a treat?]

[Ami happens to be walking by as the display is going on, and she's quick to stop to watch awhile. She can't help a slight giggle at some of the antics, politely covered by her hand, and at the end she applauds.]

He's very cute!

He's like a double threat actually, cute and talented. [ Bolin grins from behind the cheesy fake mustache. ] I think he actually performs better when we aren't working for money.

I've never seen an animal exactly like him before. Could you tell me a little about him, please? [Mizuno Ami, when confronted with a new and very cute animal, evidently tries to classify him.]

Have you tried the item and clothing shops yet? I don't know how much you'd be able to find in bulk.

Otherwise you'd need to commission someone who knows how to make that sort of thing.

I've looked and found some stuff but not enough for if a bunch of people want to go at the same time.

[ And even if he's an idiot sometimes he knows pads are important. ]

Then it looks like you need to find someone with good sewing skills.

[And here we have Varrick, clapping enthusiastically. Much as he thinks the little fire ferret makes a better mover mascot than it does a circus act, he knows how much Pabu means to Bolin. In the boondocks of Luceti, he needs to keep his friends close and his friends-who-don't-remember-that-nasty-incident-with-the-president even closer.]

Bravo! He's a fluffy little star!

[ When That-Guy-Who-Is-From-More-In-The-Future claps Bolin grins and waves. Varrick seems like a cool guy, it'll be cool when he actually remembers him. ]

Well he is the Fire Ferret's mascot, he's one of the most important members of the team.

He sure is! What would a team be without a cute little mascot to raise the compassion factor? [And to use as a model for official merchandise?]

[Karis gives the little fire ferret a round of applause, grinning at the display.]

He certainly is quite a talented little fellow!

He's had a lot of training, I don't think there's another fire ferret in Republic City who can do as many tricks as Pabu here.

[ And speaking of Pabu, Bolin gives him a cracker so his little buddy can take a breather. ]

[And Silver finds himself watching, despite being, well, Silver. Because honestly this is kind of fascinating! Pabu reminds him of a Furret, and he's never seen a Furret do tricks like that.]
