Round 2; [Action/Written]
[Bolin’s been in Luceti for about a month now, and it’s starting to really hit him that he’s trapped here. He hasn’t seen Mako in a month when he’s used to seeing his brother every day. Plus now with Asami gone home he’s trying to be happy that she’s somewhere that’s moderately safer. So he’s been keeping busy, and has also turned avoiding Tahno into a professional sport after the messy events of the amnesia event. So he’ll be away from House 58 for most of the day.]
[In the morning he’ll be training at the battle dome since he figured out how to set up a basic pro-bending training program. Basic stuff like working on his reaction time and accuracy with the earth discs. He hasn’t played a proper game in so long he doesn’t want to get rusty. Getting used to the power restriction Luceti has in place makes it more important that he get back to his old level of strength.]
[The afternoon will be spent still avoiding hanging around the house because he is terribly mature. He’ll be wandering around the village doing various things. Lunch at the pizzeria. Browsing around the item and clothing shops will result in him finding his and Pabu’s circus outfits. He may or may not be wearing that totally rad mustache home.Spoiler: He totally is. Anyone is free to stop and admire this fine example of false manly facial hair.]
[In the evening Bolin finally lets himself think about his time away from home, and why the memory loss event bothered him as much as it did. He missed having Mako around.]
[Written]
It’s probably kinda selfish of me to be jealous that one of my friends got to go home, even though she’s going back to some really chaotic stuff. I know it’s not a good idea to wish anyone into this kind of place but I’m just- Man this is hard to get out.
I know I’m definitely not the only person here who’s missing someone. My brother almost always had my back, it’s weird not having him around all the time to look out for me.
I guess what I wanted to ask was how you deal with that. With knowing you might not see your family for a long time because you’re stuck here.

Hey Aang! I didn't know you were watching.
[Action]
Hey Bolin. I noticed you coming here earlier and thought I'd see what you were up to. You looked really great in there!

[He goes over to the console and has it make a few earth discs a net on the other end.]
Let me show you how it works. Try bending those discs into the net like you normally would.
[Action]
[He nods and roots himself in the ground, concentrating slowly to lift the discs, then he starts to thrust them at the net.]
[Action]
See, that wasn't bad but you'd be knocked into the drink if you took that long during a match.
[Action]
I would? Can you show me how your stance works then, please?
[Action]
[He shifts his weight to his toes, keeping light on his feet as he brings up his fists.]
You gotta keep your weight on your toes until the right moment, when you can buckle down and-
[He grounds himself and does a strong one two bending throw, rocketing the discs into the net before returning to his mobile stance.]
Just like that!
[Action]
Huh... That was really great, Bolin! I think I can see how this works better for something like probending. [He kind of bobs a little in place, trying to get a feel for the light-footedness part while thinking Earthbender.]
[Action]
Mostly because this was how Mako and me kept a roof over our heads for a while now. It's still pretty crazy that Toph Bei Fong wants to teach me metalbending.
[Action]
That must be a real neat opportunity for you. Toph and me can also help you to get better at the traditional style. That way you can be great all around! [Pause] But... what do you mean you needed your bending for a roof?
[Action]
[He tosses the disc forward and then scratches at his head, figuring out how to tell this story.]
When we were a lot younger, a firebender killed our parents. We ended up living on the streets since the orphanages would've split us up. Toza gave us a chance by letting us stay in the attic of the arena. We paid rent with odd jobs and the winnings from our matches.
[Action]
I'm sorry, Bolin. I didn't know. [He lost... both his parents.] I had no idea... It sounds like it was really tough for you.
[Action]
He shrugs, patting Aang on the shoulder. He feels bad for bring up such a sad subject.]
What happened sucked but... I'm happy with my life right now. I love probending, and I got to meet Korra and have some great experiences.
[Action]
I can't say I really know what it's like. With everyone I lost, I never knew anyone who was really related to me, except Monk Gyatso acted like family. But... Bolin, despite that, I'm glad that you and your brother didn't get separated. [He smiles lightly.] And I'm glad that you're happy with your life. It helps, a lot.
[Action]
[That's why it hurt a bit, learning that Asami had gone home. She was safe but she was part of their little makeshift family.]
Now... wanna show me that move again? I bet with a little practice you could be as good as any pro.
[Action]
Oh - right. Sorry, I got a little distracted there. [He pops his feet around and tosses two earth discs forward with a swifter rate, although they're a bit imprecise at the same time, and one winds up missing the net.]
[Action]
[He shifts his stance to throw another disc, sending it with a spin to hit the center.]
It's too bad Mako isn't here, he could show you the fire bending side of this.
[Action] the tag my internet dying during lol
That would be really neat and helpful. I wonder how the firebending is different. But he's probably better off where he is. I've only heard a little about Mako before - like that you're brothers. [And that both Korra and Asami have liked him...] What's he like?
[Action]
He's totally different from me, is the best way to put it, I guess.
